The Firewatch Foam Spray stored pressure fire extinguisher has been tested and independently approved to AS/NZ 1841.4 Standard for Class A combustibles (the most common of all fire classes), Class B burning liquids and Class F fats and cooking oils. These foam spray fire extinguishers use a unique purpose built 6 propeller discharge nozzle and hose assembly. The foam forms a film which prevents the release of fuel vapours while forming a foam blanket that excludes oxygen.
As it is an aqueous extinguishing agent, it also cools the affected areas it comes into contact with.
